Palladium purity

Typical fineness options in the tracker include 999.5, 950 and 500. The purity percentage is applied to the gross weight to estimate the quantity of pure palladium.

Spot price vs. sale price

A live spot quote is a market reference. The price available from a dealer or refiner can be different because of spreads, assay requirements, form and liquidity.

The tracker converts grams, kilograms or troy ounces into troy ounces, multiplies the result by the selected purity, and then applies the current spot price. Currency conversion is used when GBP or EUR is selected.
